1. Weekly Saturday Dance Classes

Saturday Schedule:
Sign in at 1:15 pm. Once folks are signed in, the first class session starts which covers all levels. That’s followed by social dancing and then a second class session for intermediate and advanced dancers. We end about 4:30 pm.
Some of us go out for coffee or a bite to eat afterwards and everyone is welcome!

Join us to laugh, make friends, learn cool moves, and create a dance community. Dress comfortably. Watch some class videos: youtu.be/zfLsUVyMLo8, youtu.be/ZHfJbGBA7t0, and youtu.be/nLgHSvVS_Zo.

Children over 11 years old may attend class if a parent is in the room. $10 for children.
No charge for anyone to just come and watch the fun. Watching is a great way to introduce young children to the spirit of dancing.

2. Danceintime’s Guidebook

Danceintime’s Barb Bernstein wrote a book titled, “Salsa Dancing & Rueda de Casino Guidebook for Beginner to Advanced Dancers: Steps, Styling, Technique, Latin Rhythms, Humor & Anecdotes.” It’s a “genre blender”—part textbook, part memoir, and part coffee table book that’s fun to browse! The Guidebook is available in kindle, paperback and hardback formats!

One Amazon reviewer summarized the book this way:
“Drawing on decades of teaching experience, Barbara has distilled her knowledge into a clear, engaging read that’s perfect for beginners and seasoned dancers alike. The book covers everything from basic steps to the cultural roots of salsa, with links to videos for easy practice. Her warmth and expertise shine through, making it both fun and inspiring to read. If you’ve ever wanted to learn salsa or deepen your connection to Cuban dance, this book is a must-have!”
